NO, I haven’t
changed the great deflexed geometry. What my machinist and I have done is to
make all the lines symmetrical, smoothing everything out so that it flows, as
all great risers should. The best change, in my opinion, was to convert it to a
half ball limb pivot system. I have always admired the positive fit that this
system produces. I did keep the ball cuts in the riser, not in the pocket as in
some other manufacturers'. The pocket on my bow is there as a finishing touch,
other than that, it has no function. The center of my riser is at the pressure
point of the grip, not the arrow rest mount. This gives the best balance and a
steadier aim. My riser isn’t one of those new age risers, with excess
sculpting that has no function. It is a CLASSIC design, which has every thing
essential for a great target bow.
I offer 3 different risers. They all basically look the same, but combined with different limb lengths, allow me to offer the diverse selection of ATA’s that are listed in the descriptions below. Now available is the original 21.5”/13 degree riser, a 21.5”/19 degree riser and a longer *23”/13 degree riser.
